Exhaust + Intake = How Many Psi Gain?

If your going to build a Rotary there is a good order to do it that will save you $ in the long run...
0. Find friends who will help you work on your car.
1. upgrade the cooling system.
2. buy a Power FC or EMS you can tune as you add parts.
3. get a fuel pump.
4. get a intercooler.
5. get a muffler.
6. throw away the cat and get a strait pipe and toss the Air pump.
7. get bigger injectors and ignition upgrades.
8. go with a nice sized single turbo set up.
9. build a ported strong engine.
10. wait till the one in the car blows and swap it out.
11. take the blown one and build a back up engine.
There are lots of little things like blow off's etc that can be added in there as you go, but those are the main things...

Thanks for the tips guys. I got the car back on Friday after the exhaust was put on. It sounds pretty sweet now!! I have been taking it pretty easy but couldnt resist opening her up. How can I tell if it's leaning out? It drove okay and didn't make any weird noises. I have read that detonation sounds like popcorn popping or hard metal klunking, no of which I could hear under boost. I looked at a boost gauge on Sunday that was $90 AUS. Would that be a wise investment to monitor PSI levels?
