I was just over reading some stuff on dsm websites and i've noticed a trend. They're all obsessed about airflow with their turbos and engines. Why isn't the rotary crowd or any other car crowd so worried about airflow? I'm not saying we should or shouldn't be but was just wondering.

I would say we've been involved in air flow as long as the rotary motor has been around just in its inherent design. There's is no valve train assembly , flow interruptions as in other motors. the rotary it self is nothing more than big pump.

I assume our flow would be geared to were in the rpm range you want the most efficient.

The 24 hour 4 rotor is the epitome of flow design with its dynamic adjustments.

Just my opinion.

the rotary already has a better air flow design. we flow much more air and fuel stock and modded. typical turbo cars have a 10:1 ratio with boost 1psi=10hp rough ratio..the rotary ratio is better. best example is in our fuel its not uncommon to see someone running 550 pri and 1600 sec. well that 4300cc's of fuel under wot and boost. Lets say dsm owners are using 4 550 cc injectors thats 2200 cc's at wot and boost you can see by the amount of fuel that we need a better air flow to properly mix the fuel.

hope that helps some
