Not the SSAUTOCHROME one. The OBX yes, but the SSAUTOSCHROME one is very nice. We beat the crap out of them and have had no failures yet. Can't beat them for what they can be had for!

It is junk. I have seen one develop a 4 inch crack between the runners in 2k miles of use. All the ebay manifolds are crap and designed wrong. Mostly because the runners are too big. The exhaust sleeve is only aobut 1.8" in diameter so running 2 or 3" piping like those manifolds causes a loss of exhaust velocity and lag.

Well, I must be an exception to the rule. As with about 10 other singles I've used this on. All seem to work great. Sure, they are knock-offs but they function well. None have cracked, and aside from fitment issues that have been addressed, they work just like the HKS.

I'm not here to argue though. Just defending what I have personally seen, and so are you.

I've seen the original HKS that this is a copy of, and have never heard anyone complain about runner design, size, and whatever else. I hope it's not just because it says HKS.

As for lag; that comes in many forms. I have a T4 based turbo that reaches full boost by 3200 using this manifold. Might even be lower... I'm actually selling my TO4R (500 miles) in favor of the turbo.. But that's another story.

I respect your knowledge and opinion. I just doubt that the everyday FD driver will notice ANY difference in performance between this and a significantly higher priced unit.
