As per fire and line failure, I sent my T66-P 0.96 for rebuild to Turbonetics. I'm wanting to go with a new 0.81 AR hot side because I want spicy street action and that 0.96 AR didn't come on 'til way high in the 4K's. Ya'll think this will yield a good blend of lower RPM street punch and still have reasonable high RPM top? I'm not gonna flog this car at the strip other than establish runs for reference points for tuning.

Are you running a stock port on your engine? I didn't see that listed in your sig. That would make a difference in how fast you spool that T-66. Just something to think about.

If you're not running a split manifold then stick to the open turbine housing. Going to the smaller turbine housing adds a little back pressure so verify that your fuel mixture is still in the safe zone after the switch.

No, I'm not street ported right now. I have an engine that is being torn down for evaluation for a street port and 3 mm seals, but ..........

.... I'm not divided anywhere and I should have the turbo back in 2 weeks.

Thanks for responses and insights. I'll be sure to have the PFC set for correct fuel.

P.S. The USGP was spectacular

If anything it would run a little on the rich side after the smaller turbine housing right?

I will consult with Chris at RP regarding the change. I have room so I should be OK. I expect to do a street tuning session w/ Badass7 and the Sevens on the Shore Club and Steve Kahn.
