since my motor blew up, it damaged couple hosing, and maybe the rotors. My exhaust side of the turbo is also damaged, couple of the blades is bended. to rebuild the turbo i think it will cost somewhere in the $500 range? I was thinking to upgraded my turbo to the next bigger size and still be able to use the manifold that came with the to4 E kit. The motor now will be fully build. hurley seals, big street port and cryo all the internal ect. I should be able to benifit from going with a bigger turbo like the t04S right?

 

i think as long as you stick to your TO4 series than you should be ok!

 

You'll have issues with the LIM possibly....depending upon the Kit you purchased. Probably go with a t-04S from HKS and you'll be set. OR, you could ask HKS USA about the t-04R. Prepare to lag a little though...

 

you could also have your T04E rebuilt and have them change the wheel since its a garrett turbo



what happened to your car ?

 

took my car in for a brake upgarde, well, the guy who test dirve it blew it up. i saw 17lb of boost on my power fc and something like 90% injectors duty cycle. it damaged one housing, one rotor and the exhaust side of the turbo.It need a complete rebuild now. new rotors, new housing and rebuild turbo ect. the total bill is about 5k. I'm in the process of talking to the shop right now see if they are going to pay for it. if not i will take action. figure i need to rebuild the t04e anyway, why not upgraded to the bigger turbo, since my motor will have jumbo port, hurley seals,cryo internal ect.
