ive talked with rotary shops and dowel pinning isnt completely necessary.they said it was basically like this,u throw extra pins in there and it will concentrate on shaking something else up and destroying it.i say it is only needed with super high hp apps.

u dont need 3mm selas.matter of fact 2mm race seals are actually better.the reason for this. a 3mm apex seal is a one piece and a 2mm is a 2piece which happens to seal better.

Stock 2 mm seals are 3 piece, and stock 3 mm seals are 2 piece. I may pin my next motor, but I'm planning on alot more power than I had before. I may wind up using 6 port side housings. So I have to check them to see if they have the same reinforcements as TII housings.

T51R is way too big for the street. The lag will be unbearable. I can't see it being good for anything but drag racing or top speed runs.

Real nice. Spools extremely fast. I'm only running 9 psi now because I have a problem with my wastegate, and am killing vettes left and right. Waiting for a replacement to arrive, then its time for 15 psi+

hmm, i spose i didnt word it right. I was trying to say, would there be any point in getting a turbo bigger than a HKS T51R KAI? would one of these pump 30psi at 7500rpm? what type of apex seals can hold 30psi?
Stock apex seals with 30+ lbs of boost and Nos.....seen it and done it. Fact no fiction. Only reason to go with something other is if you can't tune. Otherwise there is nothing better.
