I read in another post that air pump may not fit with a certain setup. Would it fit with a T04 E maybe?

It's not really the turbo you have to worry about, but the manifold. If the manifold places the turbo where the air pump should go, then yes...the T-04E won't fit. But there are some kits out there(HKS) that you can fit the turbo AND the air pump.
