has anyone ran the 68-1 BB on their FD.

i'm looking at one with a .84 A/R.

how bad is lag with that turbo? and how much hp will it make with a race port and 15 psi , 20 psi?

thanks

Never heard of anyone using one.

.84 on the hot side sounds small but probably about right for the front side. My guess is probably around 500 at 20psi

Just guessing though

You'll have massive turbo lag.. My T70 actually has about the max lag I want to put up with.. and at 15-20psi you'll make maybe the same power as a To4s because a T78 doesn't start to even come online till about 18 psi or so.. The .84 ex housing would be pretty small unless it's a Q-trim ex wheel/shaft then it would be about right.. If your going to use a P-Trim ex wheel you'll want a a/r 1.0 or 1.15

I lost some of the peppyness on the bottom end compared to my to4r that I was running... It's still fine, but I lost a little bit of that 3,000-4,000 rpm in the wrong gear and need to get around these *** holes driving slow as **** in front of me power..

I'll check out the threads.. I've been buisy as hell working on cars at the shop recently..

So useable boost doesn't really start to kick in until about 4000rpm? I bet it ******* pulls like a rocket from 5-9000 though

Yea, once that turbo finally kicks in.. it's probably one hell of a kick.

She starts to get a little crazy, but the fun won't start until I turn the wick up to 1.5 kgcm.. Then the partys going to start or stop real quick.. lol
