62-1 Vs 60-1

what is the difference between the 62-1 and the 60-1 , if both have a .84 A/R ?
i've read in some posts that the 62-1 is not worth the money but no one explains why
can you guys help please
also if the 62-1 was BB is that going to change it alot.

I've never really fully understood compressor maps myself. I do know that if you go with a 60-1 or 62-1 that a .84 is kinda small. You are better off going with at least a 1.0 on the hotside when going with P trim.

to read compressor maps u need to first calculate how much your motor can push to do this
u need this following formula.
u use 160 for engine displacement because its really a 2.6 liter, max rpm i chose 8000 and .5 is a constant then i choose .85 for volumetric efficiency because its around there i dont know the exact Ev for the 13b-rew
the 1728 is also a constant. that will calculate how much your engine can flow per minute at max rpm
which is 314.81 cfm without the turbos.
they u choose what u want for you max boost then add 14.7 to it then divide it by 14.7 and u get
your PR (pressure ratio) of 1.95
then u multiply your PR by the CFM u got and u get 614 cfm at max boost and max rpm
then to convert that to lbs/min u take the 614cfm and multiply it by .0765 and u get 46.9
here is the formula
(cid x max rpm x 0.5 x Ev (vol. eff.)) / 1728
(160 x 8000 x 0.5 x .85 ) / 1728 = 314.81 CFM
28.7/14.7 = 1.95 PR
Total Flow = PR x N/A Flow
1.95x 314.81 = 614 CFM
614x.0765= 46.9 LBS/MIN
now lookat the compressor map and u will see that PR on the left and the lbs/min on the bottom
draw a line from 1.95 and 46.9 and that point shoudl be in the max efficiency rang, IF you want your
max efficiency at redline. that means u will have a bit more lag at low rpms not bad of a mid range
and realyl good top end power. a good example woudl be a t78 if u choose a compressor that starts
to fall off inteh efficiency range at these values then u will get pretty good low end strong midrange
and still good top end but it want be very efficient all the way up top and power will drop off. a good
example is a t04e or the apexi rx6.
