hey guys im Pretty new to turbos i always like my cars N/A i wouldent mind building a 300Whp N/A 3 rotor but thats a little more cash outta my pocket that i can use for other stuff, anyz i would like to build a 400-450WHP reliable engine, i know it shouldent be to hard to achieve that but i dont wanna buy a crappy turbo setup or break something, this car must be a daily driver and a drag car when needed, thise are the mods i want to do,

street port

side housing lapped

Renesis rotors with 3mm seals (www.mazdatrix.com)

lighter eshaft (http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/per...ru2pcshaft.htm)

custom intake manifold (http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/intake_manifolds.htm)

they have one for the13B just not listed

bigger Trottle body

lighter pulleys

no clucth type fan

electronic ignition and setup

ok the question what turbo setup is going to match the renesis compression, and thats going to be reliable enuff to last , thanks. and anything els am i missing....oh this engine is going into a 1st gen

I see no point to going to the renisis motor over the rew other than longevity. Even then how reliable can it be, who knows. Becuase the renisis is a side port exhaust, the seals are always in contact with the housing, which is good for longevity, however too much restriction imo. You will have more lag than a rew and possibly your egt's will be much higher than a rew. YOu also now will have to get a custom manifold, it is going to be a lot of work. Nevertheless, to answer your question, a garrett GT35R, would be my best guess.

hes just using the renesis rotors, not the whole motor

I second the GT35R idea, its what I'm gonna go with. With moderate tuning you should see 400+rwhp no problem.

i see no need for this lighter e-shaft, or special rotors nonsense.

you can get 400rwhp without changing the internals, or the intake manifold, or the throttle body itll save you a ton of money.

If youre gonna change all that stuff might as well try aiming higher then 400rwhp, i mean some people are achieving that with bolt on **** (bolt on as in single turbo, not bolt on like exhaust)

If you want reliable then I would steer clear of mixing internals and 3mm apex seals. A street ported 13brew with a decent turbo and good tuning will land you 400 reliable hp. No need to get all creative on it.

fast

reliable

cheap

you only get to pick two.
