I am looking for the four best (best performance, best reliability, best price, best kit) single turbochargers. I am planning on going single over winter as my project and need expert advice. I am also going to put that infomation onto my website

twinturborx7.com

which after the upgrade would be

turborx7.com

I want the turborx7.com to be a good page all about singles while the twinturborx7.com would be about, obviously, the twins.

Thanks!

best reliability with stock port = To4e a/r .84 P trim ex

best performance on the street for a daily driver with a side port = To4s a/r 1.0 P trim ex

best performance drag racing = T series turbo's, but it all depends on the port your running as to which one will work for you.

best price = one of those turbo kits used

You dont' think the T-04R would be a good daily driver?

I got mine for 1055.00

That's the TO4-R, Jet-Hot coating on the exhaust side, Polished compressor housing and V-Band welded on.

I think a T51 would make a great street turbo or a T04Z

The T04 spools up nicely and makes nice power. Just get Garrett or Turbonetics to build one. (cheaper than HKS)

you could still buy a S and over haul it twice for that much.. lol

The R is a great turbo, but it's worthless compared to the S unless your going to boost 1.3-1.4 + with it because it won't make any more power than the S at the lower boost levels.

hrm.. 2.6-2.8 k for one of those turbo's, If you want somthing that big then just get a T76 with a P trim 1.0 or 1.15 and save your self about 1k+, get better performance on the street and the availiblity of parts to overhaul it.. Garret Japan who makes the turbo's for HKS doesn't sell turbo overhaul parts for the HKS turbos so you **** out of luck if it goes fubar on you and they make everything just a little off sized for the Garet USA parts to fit.
