Fellas I have an issue with one of my injectors. It was installed today and for some reason it is leaking. The injectors were cleaned, tested, oiled, and then sat in a baggie for over a year. For some reason it is constantly dumping fuel. Has anyone experienced this before and if so what was the cause and remedy?

I had a brand new 1600 injector leak on me the first day I installed it. you can have it rebuilt, but I would opt for buying a new one

Take them out, get a 9-volt battery and some wire and see if they click when you apply that 9 volts to them. No clickie = stuck or sticky. In your case, stuck open. Soak them in WD40 over night and try it again after that. Still no clickie, or slow, send them away to be cleaned.

Good luck.
