Guys,
Can someone tell me where to purchase the primary and secondary fuel rails for the 13BRE motor. I'll be running 850/1600cc combination. Thanks, Jim |

I had to make my own. I have a stock fuel rail with weld on -6 AN fittings on it, but they leak because they were not tig welded on.
it's not too hard to make your own. Took maybe half a day with the proper tools(this was my first time doing it) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif |
I think thats what I'll end up doing to mine, TIGing on fittings.

If your talking about an FC, you don't need to fab your fuel rail. All you need to do is shave off the plastic around the top potion of the 1600-1680 so it fits into the rail and then use the stock O-ring...It takes a whole 10 minutes to buzz off with a dremel tool...Be sure to mask off the injector on both sides because the plastic gets all over in a dust form. Keep in mind the plastic on the injector itself has no baring on the fitment into the fuel rail, and its the O-ring the does the sealing......Its easy

There has to be someone with fuel rails for the 13B-RE motor?
|
I have two stock fuel rails(primary/secondary) with the secondaries modified to fit -6 an fittings.
It's not exactly a easily found engine, so finding a place to purchase these isn't going to be easy. It's not that hard to make a fuel rail. It cost me the price of a fuel log. That's saves me TONS of $$$ |
I know this will be a n00b question, but why do you need new fuel rails when putting an RE motor into an FD?
|
The injectors I'm wanting to run are not drop-ins and I also would like a little more volume than -6AN....it's going in an FC not FD :0

What HP are you shooting for? I have dual pumps each feeding one rail and then both "Y" into an aeromotive FPR, so I have one -6 line to the primary and one -6 line to the secondary. |
thats just it... everyone thinks they need -8 or larger! Anything larger than a -6 is a waste of space. You can't get any better than what jspecracer7 has. Thats something I'd like to do this winter, mod my rails like his.
jspecracer7- do you have any kind of pulsation dampener in your fuel system? |
I'm thinking that maybe -6AN will do ok, since you guys think so. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png I have some "bulk" aluminum fuel rails that are already tapped for 1/2" NPT, so I'm not sure yet.

looks like I need to get my hands on a aeromotive FPR and a few -6 male jic plugs from work then! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
