1 Fuel Pump For Primaries 1 For Seconaries?

I am dropping fuel pressure at WOT above 17lbs of boost. I currently have the RX7.com fuel pump (which Ari said its good to 500hp), Aeromotive FPR, and 1600cc secondaries. I am using stock fuel lines and stock primaries. What should I do? Could I do this.....





I have a brand new fuel pump from the rx-7store.net extreme fuel system that I did not use. Could I use this fuel pump for my primaries, and use the RX7.com pump for my secondaries by using the carbon return line (cleaned out)? Its not being used anyways now. That way I could avoid runing bigger fuel lines and saves a bunch of money. Does anybody see anything wrong with this? I saw a FD at NHRA running 10's that used this set up. I probably would upgrade my primaries to 850's unless it would not offer any help.



My setup on 93 FD3S R1

Atkins 13B 3mm, Cryo frozen, Water jacket mod, Clearance rotors

A-spec GT35/40

Power FC w/ datalogit

Greddy 2 row FMIC

Fluidyne radiator



BDC tuned to 17lbs...but would like to go to 25-28lbs if tuning allows

You must increase the size of your lines. The stock lines cannot flow what you need.

alright few things, check the voltage that your fuel pumps are getting, second check for obstructions in the line, like clogged fuel pump, clogged strainers before the fuel pump ( i had this problem), then, check if all the hoses are clamped down, (i didnt clamp down the hoses from the pump to the metal hoses and seemed like , as the fuel got warm and the fuel lines got more flexible, they would kink and spray where there is less pressure, which is within the tank). then, check the fuel pressure regulator itselt, try to get a hold of someone else's which you know works properly. treceb had that problem, and fortunately i had an extra regulator for him to test out.



i'd take care of this fuel issue before you use all that power man.... if your fuel pressure drops more than it is now, you might get lean and blow

although its always a good thing, i dont think that is his problem..





oh yeah.... check the bottom of your car. sometimes when our cars bottom out on a steep curb, or a big pothole they would get kinked or squished, making them narrower than they already are.

if you run dual feed lines, you can keep the stockers in place.



I have two pumps, feeding the stock feed and return lines. The stock emissions fume line is used for the return and I have eliminated teh charcole canister and related components

Thats exactly what I was hoping to do....I figured that is a cheap way to double the size of my fuel lines. Just seeing who has tried it and how much HP they acheived.

There are quite a few people running that setup with good results.
