how do you do a good launch?

 

The way I launch is bring the rpm's to about 4000 to 4500, then when light goes, slip the clutch until it is fully out.

 

You can either rev & slip the clutch or dump the clutch.



Slipping the clutch is better but it wears out the clutch faster.



Depending on your mods you'll find the right rpm range to launch at.



Practice makes perfect.Experiment a bit and you'll know how to get a good launch.

 

i rev to 6k and slip the clutch the first ten feet or so then let it completely out. 2.1 is my best 60 foot so far. i just need to deal with my exhaust and fuel pressure and i think i will be int the 14s.

 

i warm up the tires ,stand @ the line @ about 10,000 rpms and dump the clutch
