Well, I've got everything packed up and boxed up, most of it loaded in the trucks, and I'm about ready to go. I can't get to sleep at all tonight, a little anxious, but mostly trying to enjoy my last night with the people that brought me to where I am now. I've done more thinking about family and stuff in the past week than I think I ever have. I've grown to appreciate how good things have been for me. I have a great family, and I'm going to miss them greatly.



I don't know my roommate at all, so we'll have to see how that goes. Hopefully well, I don't want to have to go through a room transfer, but will if I have to. Classes start monday, I'm dreading getting back in a desk.



All the stuff i've had to do to get ready to go has beed overwhelming this week. I have been filling out forms for the school, the fraternities I'm interested in, medical stuff, and getting all the financial bs figured out. Packing what I already have, figuring out what I need, the problems with my truck. MEH. I'm sick of it all. I just want to get up there and get on with life.

I got a call from the rush leader of the sigma chi fraternity here inviting me to go throw down with them tomorrow night. I will get drunk. thats for sure. Sigma chi is the main frat that I'm interested in, they are the 2nd biggest on campus, but not cocky or pretentious like the biggest one. They are a party crowd. My kind of people.



So I'm moved in. My roommate never showed up, there's two more days left to move in, but yesterday and today were the main days. I kinda hope he doesn't show. it would be very nice to have my own room.
