Well, I think I got the whole injector thing figured out, but it still doesnt let me go above 3K. Its like its turning the ignition off. Literally, as soon as it gets to 3K, it just dies. It also dies as soon as you hit the pedal from idle. You can barely tap the pedal to get it to rev up, but as soon as 3K hits, dies also.

I guess my question is:

Does the ECU need any sensors plugged in to run? I dont know what sensors are plugged in since the guy rewired the whole thing. I know you need the at least the MAF, TPS, and CAS, but do you need the water temp, air temp, oil presssure, etc...

Thanks,

J

Yes it would need those sensors they control the correction maps which determine how much fuel it dumps without them it will defualt to some weird number. The coolant temp broke on my vert and it wouldnt even start it ran so rich.

Sounds like not all your injectors are firing

First place to look is, yes, electrical malfunction.

I wouldn't trust this guy rewiring everything... What does that entail?

Which coolant temp sensor needs to be hooked up? The one on the block, or the one on the neck? I know that the temp gauge and the oil pressure gauge do not work.

Right now, it runs soooo rich at idle, then when you press on the gas, it just dies.

coolant temp needs to be hooked up off the pump neck to affect enrichment

the small one on the block is for the temp gauge
