Same topic on the mini forum was posted and here is what one guy posted, and I have a feeling he isn't lying.



Have had 2 intances where beer has saved me. instance 1 came out from doing a late night job and windscreen of mini was frozen solid so i causually drank the 6 beers i had just aquired and stood on the wings of my mini and urinated on the windscreen to clear it, which got me to the nearest garage so i could clean off the smell quickly.

instance 2. driving 140km into the unknown in south africa and the mini started to over heat, so pulled over to find a split heater hose but i had lost a lot of fluids so i sat down and drank 6 beers (notice how i carry beer with me all the time)and a bottle of lemon twist wiated untill the call of nature was needed and filled my radiator up again. do you know that that car drove for years on that same antifreeze and always smelled sweet.



beer can save your life in more than one way. any other stories like that?

it can also ******* kill you drinking that goddamn much...but i guess being alive for another couple years is worth it instead of sufficating to death in an audi

 

yea he prolly couldnt start his car because it would 1. poison him, 2. car couldnt get sufficent air.

 

yeah you'd be stuck in a jetta, with 60 bottles of old milk!
