That freedom of speech bullshit has got to stop. That was written over 200 years ago. Yeah, you still have the right. Half the time when people say Freedom of Speech after some long preaching something, it is usually bullshit. Which is what you are preaching Crass.



I am joining the military, and will not back out of it. I might not go to war, but I will have served my country. And if you don't like the military, then move the **** out of America. Go live in Easy Germany, or ****, I don't care, go to Cambodia.

 

I love how people try to express their opinions and then others tell them to go move somewhere else if they want to have opinions. America was founded on freedom and now you guys are trying to kill it. Well, I hope for all of our sakes that it doesn't work. If you love the war and you aren't serving, then what's stopping you? If you hate the war but don't have a better idea of what to do, then shut the **** up. Those are my opinions and you'll never take them away from me or force me to take them elsewhere BECAUSE I'M A GODDAMN AMERICAN.



By the way, there are plenty of countries that don't have huge militaries and don't need them. There are plenty of peaceful places to live that aren't 3rd world countries. Anyone who thinks you need a military to be happy is wrong, but on the same token, anyone who thinks you can be a (or the) world superpower without a huge military is wrong as well.



Whether or not we should be at war right now is not my issue. If you try to argue that issue with me I'll just ignore you. My gripe is that the opinions of Americans are always welcome and if you don't like them, try to form a logical argument of why your opinion is better. Telling someone to move out of the country or calling them a hippie is not a logical argument. Come to think of it, logic is generally lost with most people, so disregard everything I've just said.

Its funny how I see the same type of people who scream the loudest about freedom.watch most protestors, they come from the same mold. Pseudo academics living in a localized false bohemia, who's actual contribution to society is not helping those in need but bitching to those who actually PAY for those in need. Getting high (thats OK) and holding the most menial jobs to get by which in turn that NEED the government to subsidize. Years of gatherings whose aspirations are to not work hard and assist in the overall society but to complain only, never to step up and help.Complaining about issues are EASY ...executing a return is hard.

Realize that while I dont want to spend bazzliion dollars fighting in some other country I do know that history shows its only when a style of Democracy is introduced does hardline expansionism cease. Zarqowi just stated that freedom is evil last week and he will fight it. We will never see peace as long as fundalmentalism has taking hold of a society. They same reason that leftist are haters towards those who succeed here, it is the base for what makes terrorist.....jealosy. However, THEY dont get an oppurtunity...some Mullah or Sheik keeps power and money by keepng the society from entering this centry under the guize of relious purity.

Correct, but America is different.... We are so economically advanced and technologically advaced that without a military, we would be taken over by some other country. Almost every other culture is 'jealous' (for lack of a better word) of the U.S. They admire us, but they don't 'like' us, despite what we may do for them. I just don't see how someone living in America could 'not like the military'. Without it they would be living in turmoil....
