My car comes with a 4-point harness as standard , that, polybushed suspension and 11k rpm.

In some cases, I'd be inclined to agree with you, but how many of us wear our seatbelts in the back seat every time?

Me. i never ride in a car without a seat belt, with 3 exceptions:

1, I'm gettin some in the back seat

2, there are no seatbelts

3, on a long trip, and i'm layin down on the back floor (Minivan)

thats it. After the wrecks that I've been through, I feel weird when I don't wear one.

Yeah same here, it feels strange when I'm not wearing one - thankfully it's not for the same reason as yourself, I've just gotten myself into the habit of doing it.

If your gonna run a 4 or 5 point harness in a street car you better make sure you have rollover protection.

I had a 4 point roll bar, but took it out because it got in the way of the top going down.....

I never really thought about that when i had the harnesses though. I would put the roll bar back in if I was racing or anything though.... I had mounts welded in. I sold the cage when I parked the car.
