does it make a difference that the pressure regulator solenoid is missing the plastic piece that goes on the nipple? theres one on my FC's, and it looks like there is one in the 85 fsm.

If you paid more than $250 for the car, you got robbed.

Blue book value for that car with those miles in fair condition is $975 for a private party sale. You can almost certainly wack the $800 asking price in half as an opening bid.

well he said hed take $1k for it, but im sure that was just his high offer. i just looked at autozone's site and the fuel pressure regulator is $80, plus it needs plugs so that will all come off of the price

i'd say 500, 600 max after seeing the pics.

like you said shane, the guy was a rotard , with the talk of how it revs up to 12k the odds are, he redlined it and kept going one day.

honestly, it would probably end up needing a rebuild somewhat soon.

if your cam takes jpegs you can post it, just go to the attachment box at the bottom of the "add reply" screen. i dont think i would need the center.

i think i just pull out the compartment behind the drivers seat to cut the fuel pump
