we found ourselves with a wrecked rx8, and a stack of xenon lights, so the car now has xenons. in this conversion the leveling motors are NOT hooked up.

parts: you need the xenon lights (FE03-51-0K0G, FE03-51-0L0G), the xenon blubs (0000-11-D2S, prolly a standard blub...) and the headlight harnesses (2x F152-51-155)

wiring: the rx8 uses the same fuses and relays and such for both normal and xenon, but the main harness is different between the two. all the bulbs and stuff plug in an work, except the low beams. this is where the headlight harnesses come in. you need to clip off the hid connector, and connect to the headlight teminals on the stock harness. i believe polarity is the same between hid and normal too.

installation: to actually change headlight assemblies you need to pull of the front bumper. and if you didnt put the xenon bulbs in before the headlight assemblies went in the car, you can change it by pulling the fender liners back.

had this in the car for 2-3 months now, they are 100000% better than the normal lights...

How tough is it to level out the lights once they're in?

Of course, the real question is how to get mazdacomp to accept these as race parts.

it was easy! i didnt do anything!

yeah the parts are not cheap, list on the headlights is $959.... each. but they do have the transformers and ballasts and whatnot in em.

plan b, would be to get the transformers and harnesses (d391-51-0h3) from a 3 or something, and then bulbs that fit the stock rx8 housing....
