Updated Spark Plugs
we just got some updated spark plugs for the rx8, same part number, parts are different. they have 4 cutouts like the fc/fd plugs now, it should help wih any no start/fouled/flooded plug issues
as an aside has anyone had problems with that here?

yes the rx8s have new plugs for the primary only, the color on the end went from white or blue to orange forgot what the trailing color is i thought it was blue anyways plugs have a hotter spark thats all, and damn they aint cheap. but the update is an old one , **** mazda changed them up over a year ago now. but if you ask me i think the whole flooding problem is in the design of the plugs, they fill up with oil, fuel , and carbon cause there so open. i have changed so many plugs now in rx8s its nuts!

6,7,9 are the heat ranges. they seem to be "colder" than the fc/fd plugs, even though the numbers are the same

[quote name='Black8' date='Apr 2 2005, 07:04 PM']never had a problem with my good ol' OE plugs in mine.....I'm sure it's running the older plugs, mine was built in Jun of 03....To me the flooding "problem" is a non issue.
