I'm with IGY, the turbo is on the drivers side (remember what side those Japanese drive on). You can see where the exh mani comes out of the engine and how it drops down then back up again to go into the turbo. I still can't tell if it has a intercooler though?

 

If anyone is familiar with the old style 951's.... porsche 944 Turbo, the turbo was mounted on oposite sides of the exhaust, there was an exhaust pipe running under the engine to the hotside of the turbo.



That's all i really now about that, i do know however that the 951's were intercooled... so if this turbo setup is infact real, it's just like the old porsche set-up from the late 80's

"Just my 02 Cents. BTW... the car in those pictures is strait from japan.. no? I just happend to notice the brake resevour on the wrong side, which leads me to believe the steering wheel and driver controls are on that side as well. :-)"
