I'm don't live in the NE, but I did take my 8 out in the snow. Let's just say I couldn't make it out of the gate.

I live in Western Canada and am amazed at the ability this car has on ice and snow. The DSC works awesome despite the very poor tires on the car. Converting to a high performance all season tires would make this car perfect on snow or ice.

Do you have the Dynamic Stability Control option?

I am curious how the 8 does in the snow, it will be a determining factor on whether or not I buy one next fall when the 05's come out.

Thanx

Yes I have that option. It has nothing to do with the driver in this case, it's the damn RE040 tires. They suck *** in the snow, on ice FORGET IT! Like I said, I couldn't even get out of the gate, no joke. With snow tires I hear it's great.

I left my Rx8 in my driveway. Tires really do suck.
