Saw My First Rx-8 On The Street!
#9
Ive seen it in person, and it looks good, but how it drives will
be another thing, it gets good reviews, but honestly I see a short life
ahead for the car, people will still be afraid of the rotory and after
the couple of thousand people that buy one will, the car will die out.
Just like the Thunderbird, they came out with it, it was in demand, and now sales have dropped to nothing and so Ford is going to stop selling the car.
Certain cars have a limited market, the RX-8 is one of them, so when that marketshare buys one, then Mazda will be sitting on whats left.
Even if they gave it more horsepower, Joe car buyer who doesnt know dick about rotories will still be scared to buy one, add to the mix that car companies are going to stop leasing cars and it spells disaster.
The average Joe car buyer doesnt want to be stuck with a old rotory thats out of warranty.
I hope Im wrong.
