The rx8 look awesome in the movie, and sounded good too. It was a real quick appearance though. I wish they would of showed more. A chase seen would have been nice.

 

Yeah man.. i just saw the movie 2 hours ago... they made that car look nice!!! I can't wait to test drive it once it comes out. The color blue makes it look even better.

 

all car sound the same in the movies.....

 

I wouldn't say so dude.. That car sounded mean, sounded like a rotary to me.. And I nearly **** myself when I heard that sweet sound

 

that was the sexiest car sound in a movie i've seen in a while

That sounded like a dubbed in v-8/10....I wouldn't doubt it. They've done it with other cars in other movies...*ahem F&F*...

the latest issue of "Mazda Fuel" magazine (for the dealers) has a behind the scenes look at the X-Men RX-8 - they could get a running model '8', so they BUILT one! OUT OF A '7'!

It's true, the interiors are a non running prototype, and the moving scenes are an RX-7 conversion!

'7's still rule!

( I seriously doubt that was the actual engine sound - come on, we all could have recognised the '7's wail....)

I don't know where you heard that....but Mazda has been promotign the hell out of the car and the movie. Why wouldn't they give them a working model. Their is no way in hell that was a 7. And the engine did sounds like I rotary. V8's don't sound like that

 

I'm also sure that the side ported exaust sounds way the hell diffrent than the rx7's peri port exaust... I'd like to hear one in person to see what the hell it does sound like... I'm sure sombody over here in Okinawa with $ will buy one soon enough...
