Well I guess the company in the states is too late



I saw 3 different kits on RX8s today..

i thought they were having trouble turboing the renisis cuase of the variable port timing or something.

 

here is Knightsports set-up and info, well some of it..



285ps @ 7800rpms with their 4-beat rom.

 

Here is POWERS of course info is coming. I just have some stuff going on and around 200pics to put up..

turbo + mount inches from RUBBER belt = melted belts.

I think the knightsports is good, just needs some work to make it better.



POWERS looks great like the SSR one, but I think its no good. Just my experience its not a good place to put a TURBO period......

 

I seen more RX-8's this weekend than I ever wanted to see...... I seen the one Trust had sitting there that they say is turbo but it wasn't I actually thought it was funny.



I am looking everywhere for the turbo and when I look at the engine I see two pipes coming out looking just like a NA manifold going to the back of the car.

 

I didnt see one in the TRUST section. I forgot where RE-Amemiya Trust Turbo kit Yellow RX8 was. It was at a wheel company in the first showroom in the back not too far from MS I think it was. Either way you can see the turbo, just like I did hehe, jump over the lines and peak your head down in there. Its deep in there, but you can see it. Tiny.......

What are those crazy Japanese Nationals doing over there? Are they running super high octane or using water injection? I though it would be very difficult to boost a 10:1 compression ratio engine.
