just looking to see what catbacks most RX8 owners are using. I am considering the Greddy SP2, and I am looking to see who all are using this exhaust.

Greddy is always loud. More on the rice side IMO. I dont know how far you want to go. But if I was serious I would just take the cat out and tune the ECU. If this is not an option RB would be my only choice.

the mazdaspeeds sound real nice too, kinda like what stock SHOULD be, ie its a little louder and deeper, but if the car came that way nobody would complain

There are 3 facts that make the Mazdaspeed exhaust a good choice.

1. The tips. They say "Mazdaspeed" on them which makes it look like your car was professionally tuned giving it the louder sound from engine instead of just louder exhaust. Also, they are bigger, but not too big. If you have huge tips, everyone thinks you just put exhaust upgrade, not engine upgrade.

2. When you install it you keep your warranty because it is a Mazdaspeed accessory. If you put a different company exhaust on and something goes wrong, the dealer can say it must have been the aftermarket exhaust (even though I doubt an exhaust could damage your engine).

3. The exhaust itself gets a 1 year warranty which includes installation if installed by official Mazda dealer.

HERE IS A VIDEO OF IT

It is quiet but with a high flow cat and aftermarket intake, it would be a lot louder.
