Engine
Renesis stands for Rotary Genesis
The difference between the renesis and the his older brothers is the rotor chamber
1)improvements in seals insures good pressure
2)The area of rotor improvement had increased hence increasing the time of each expansion cycle (of the 4 cycles: intake, firing, combustion, exhaust), also the heat produced thru each cycle has been reduced.
Standard Motor: 210HP
High Power Motor: 250HP
Comparsion with the 13B REW
1)Rotor has been reduced in weight by 11%
2)Flywheel has been reduced in weight by 20%
Suspension
1)Uses the B frame design unlike the older FD which uses the C frame design.
2)3 sway bars under the chasis
3)in 16's or 18' rims.
4)50/50 even weight distribution
5)lower center of gravity with motor only 39 cm from the ground
6)English is not my 1st or 2nd language, I couldn't tell you about the suspension design.
7)1300kg, 50kg more than the FD
LSD
1)2-way "Super" LSD [2 way is measured in TSD (Torque Bias Ratio)]
The American base is set at $26108US Dollars for base, $32100 USD for full load
For Canadian pricing, goto my post in the Canada/Regional section
I spent a whooping 20 minutes typing this (some way to spend my spring break) . So I hope you will enjoy it.

I can see some of my spelling mistake on the above post.
on the 5th line, its "The area of rotor movement", not "improvement"
Also I forgot to mention the difference between the high power motor with the standard one.
The high power motor has different sets of intake "inlets" which opens at different RPM. At 7250RPM, the renesis motor will switch into its "direct free flowing mode", at this point, the motor is taking in as much air as it possibly could.

I got it from an East Asian magazine, where I came from.
The North American magazines are a little bit conservative on the techical aspect of the cars. A magazine such as Car & Driver or Road Track wouldn't talk much about things such as manufacturer hack modes on the factory radio that factory mechanics can go into if he wants a quick check on your compression or the car's average running temperature.

nono, I'm not from the inside of course, I wish I was.
you can find most of these info on the net if you look hard enough
here are some pictures to explain what I wrote on the above. They're too big for me to post them directly here.

-here you see a bend intake hose and a straight one, at 7250rpm, it will switch from the lefty to the righty.
http://media.mazda.ch/dossiers/RX-8/images...gdynamics07.jpg
-here is how the seals and the rotor movements are changed to enhance the expansion cycle.

-I didn't really talk about this one. But the picture (and its explanations) explains itself.

the suspension and how it works.
