A couple months ago, I really started getting itno the RX-8 in a big way. Before, it was more like 'meh' like the RX-Evolve and RX-01 because, like them, it was only a concept car. But as the info about it kept coming, and the chance it would actually go into production kept increasing, so did my interest. I think it peaked when I read Csaba Csere's report. Man, it outdoes the 3rd gen in every way other than straight line acceleration. Lack of forced induction is probably the reason. But with this much performance, most people won't even think about it (after their first test drive, that is). Then again, the Renesis is supposed to handle forced induction really well, so . It's so much more practical than the 3rd gen as well. I'd get one.

Why can't it pick up faster lap times than the cobra?
the cobra has the faster lap time because it has so much more HP and

torque.

indeed, I plan on bringing a small strap wrench to the auto show and trying to jack the thing if they are letting people sit in it, lol

who cares if its a 6 speed pattern!

never mind, they will probably be running the metal detector over people, wonder if they will question it?
