Road and track tested a 6speed RX-8, 1/4 mile time of 14.9 seconds, 0-60 6.3 seconds.

Weight 3000-3050 lbs

$27,000-$28,000 for the 207hp version, no price for the higher horsepower 6 speed but the performance numbers are from the 6speed/247hp model.

yeah the auto is ony avaiable with the 210hp version... to get the 250 you need the stick... who wouldnt want a 6 speed anyway?

Correction, its Car and Driver, I got 4 magazines in the mail today and got confused. Turbo, Car and Driver, Road and Track, and Sound and Vision, I have enough reading to sit on the toilet bowl till next week, lol

"Who wouldn't want a stick?", look at all the Auto 7's for sale, just irks me everytime I see one! I almost HATE mazda for making an Auto 7!!!!! Hehe, ok off soapbox now, it is good the lower HP is on the auto, probably will sell less of them!
