What do you guys think the relaibility for the rx-8 will be like. Rotaries are supposed to be better than pistons right? Sorry for the newbie question, im new to rotaries, ive worked with pistons my whole life.

I'd imagine the reliability should be somewhere around the same area as the 2nd Gen non-turbos. Just think, all of that complicated stuff with the turbos isn't there. As I understand, that's a lot of why the 3rd Gen had all of its problems. Anyhow, anything we can come up with will be speculation until some magazine does a long-term test on it. That, or until the first forum member buys one and pops a seal.
