I received an advertisement from Mazda stating that the RX-8 would be out this summer, but a friend just told me that it wasnt going to be released this year in the U.S. Has anyone heard anything about this?

i beleive preordered ones will be out by summer. the rest of the ppl will be able to get it starting november, i think.

Not that is matters for the US guys, but Mazda put up a sign saying RX8 VERY SOON. Whatever thats suppose to mean, but I have been meaning to ask, but I have been trying to make my stops there quick..

I also get those cards in the mail about the RX-8. I've been hearing the release for summer '03 too.

I've been getting the cards too, I also went on the website which said summer of 2003, a guy at work just told me today that he supposedly pre-ordered one. ( We'll see if its true )

Hmmmm....I was just at the dealer this week and the guy said he was getting one for the show room next month. I hate it when everything is just speculation. I wish they had a count down on the website like they did for the 350Z...
