So one of my friends drove into the rear of an rx8 acouple of days ago. The kid in the rx8 ran out of gas on a very busy road and didn't even try to roll to the side of the street. Just sat in the middle lane and turned his hazards on and waited for mommy and daddy. So to make a long story short my friend was the one that drove into him, its all good cause his dad works at a body shop. My question is, on the rx8 rear defuser there is a little silver rotor shape thing (i have no idea what its purpose is, if it even has one) i'm not sure if its even on all rx8's i dont think it is. Well the body work was done, we just need to replace that part. If anybody has a part number or where i could purchase one that would be great. Thanks

 

dont know the part number off hand but that is a crome accent piece that is an option and the only place to get one is at the mazda dealer or ya might be lucky and find one with like mazdatrix or some shop like that.

 

It's the rear rotary accent.
