What type of gas mileage is everyone getting? I've got a 30 mile drive one way to get to work everyday and I kinda want to know what to expect as far as MPG.

I average about 19. If I'm above 3750 rpms, it sucks it down a lot faster.

Mine got 14mpg in the winter cold, best ever was 25mpg all highway on a 900 mile trip. So usually in my city/highway mix it was 17mpg.

Rotaries are pigs. But I love them.

If I keep my foot out of it, I can get in the 17 mpg range. but I ususally see 14-15. and I am ok with that, the smile on my face is worth it.

If I drive at least half the time on a tank of gas, we get 17-18. If wife drives 3/4 of the time or more, we get 21-23.

I've had mine a little over two years. Drive it to work each day 30 mi round trip, mostly highway. Other driving probably amounts to about 25% of total miles. I don't drive like a manic, but I sure do like a spirited on ramp or two a day! I also ascribe to the "9000rmp a day keeps the Doctor away" theory.

Anyway, I average about 18mpg overall. If I get less than 17, which is very rare, I am disappointed, and that has only happened during the Winter. My best is probably about 22.5.

Zoom, Zoom!
