Default Power steering issues

I am completely new to this, so bear with me. My car is a 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT 6 speed manual transmission. It's my first rotary engine, and I am clueless to say the least.

I have been having an issue with my power steering on my car after the radiator cracked and needed replacing. I have learned that it was due to a bad manufacturing aspect with plastic radiators and was a common problem for 2004 - 2005 models. Got that. I know that it has electronic PS connectors that got drenched when the radiator had to be replaced. Everything has tested good so far, but I still have no power steering. My mechanics and I are lost on this engine.

What I need to know is whether there is a way to fix it (and how), or do I need to plan on buying new PS connectors in the near future? Any (and all) help is appreciated.
