Whats the most cost effective way to gey some more hp from a stock rx8? I'm thinking pipe, cold air and chip? Also want to upgrade my old tires. I want more grip and live in Florida so winter is not a concern.Any suggestions? Thanks

Most effective? Turbo......Tires? The Kumho MX is an awesome tire for the money....cost no object, the Michelin PS2 is good, and the Bridgestone Potenza S03 is cool.

Most "cost" effective power upgrade for the rx8...Thanks for the tire input. I'll drive the 20b when I want lots of "effective" power.

Goodyear Eagle F1's are perfect for Florida. Turn in suffers a bit but the wet/dry traction is great. They're not cheap.

Short of turbo or supercharger, there's isn't much you can do to the 8 to gain significant hp. Aftermarket exhaust, midpipe and intake will get you a little, but not much.

Any dyno numbers on a turbo RX8 and price for complete package? Anybody making a really nice kit? How much? I've heard $5000 will get you 250whp. I am also hearing that a full pipe (no cats) cold air and a Wolf will do a nice job too. True?
