I recently installed the latest dongle update that was issued by Greddy. I test drove the car yesterday(after installing it) and while out on a test drive the engine has lost the rear rotor. At the time the car was not under full load and I was not at more than 3-4 psi. I did have the car tuned after the original map was not satisfactory and it has been running well for the last six months until now. I have contacted a represntative at Greddy USA in regards to this but as of yet nothing has been resolved.

I would urge anyone using this update to remove it until this has been resolved. I think this latest update has some programing that has caused a severe lean condition in the engine. I thought it would be helpful to warn others so no one else ends up with a broken engine.

If anyone is interested in my conversation with the Benny at Greddy please contact me. I would rather not start a unproductive finger pointing thread. I am hoping that they are willing to offer some good customer support.

I will keep the forum updated.

Here is a link to a thread that also has some similar intrest's

Wow. That sucks Ryan. Hopefully you will get some type of word from Greddy on the issue.

Good Luck

And if you were using their own programming, shouldn't they be held liable to replace your parts?

I am pulling the motor now. I worked up a deal where it does not cost me a dime but lots and lots of man hours. Greddy sent me an e-mail asking for a pic of the harness so I will send it to them. Also Greddys maps have worked on a FEW of there kits the rest has been re tuned by someone. They acknowledge that there maps sucked.
