Driving Rx-8 On Saturday

My mate who works for the Mazda SP RX-7 racing team called today. Two RX-8's arrived in their workshop this morning. They will be taking them out to Eastern Creek raceway on Saturday for mag reviews and to shoot a Japanese comercial. I will be tagging along, hopefully get a ride....

My mate didn't even go because he was hungover and ****, so I just went down by myself. I watched it do a couple of laps. I didn't get to go in it because nobody knew who I was. The tires on it were all peeled out around the edges. They must have been thrashing the **** out of it. I spoke to one of the guys who was working there and he said they had been doing doughnuts in it the day before. While I was there they were setting up a jump for it to go over. They tested this ******* over the jump first but I was asked to leave before the 8 went over it for Privacy security and insurance reasons. :rant:
But anyway all in all it looks sexy and sounds really nice even in stock form.
