Well there is this creaking on the drivers's door that only comes up when driving on the freeway and is driving me nuts.



My car came with tint already. You guys think something got messed up that will cause this slight creaking.



Anything I can look for? Any instructions in how to remove door panel?



Anything PDF online that have the manual posted like they have for the RX-7s

rx8 is much much easier to work on than any of the 7's. possible that the little foam crash absorber thing got damaged when they had the panel off

 

Do I need that special tool to removed the panel? Is there an online manual?I don't want to damage my panel if I start pulling on it.

 

nope, its prolly 2 screws and a yank, like all the new mazda's.

 

its really easy...two screws near pull handle, a screw and bezel around inner door handle, and the tweeter pops off. the rest is clips.

i've got the same thing going on from both doors. i'v had the panels off numerous times and i can't get it to stop...if I touch the arm rest the noise stops so I know its coming from the door panel.

 

on the 3's the door sqeaks/rattles is usually the plastic inner door thing rubbing against the metal of the door. a little foam tape between that and the door usually fixes it real good like

 

Hrmm, I have a slight Bzzz by the drivers door, only shows up on the Highway... Got to know how to get in there...

 

On mine, the problem was a loose power window motor mount.
