To be honest NO. They asked me if I was RACING the car. I said no. But I told them that Yes I drive it HARD. I mean real hard. I also told them, that Mazda's biggest prommo. is performance and I did not do anything different to the car that every other car magazine or TV commercial hasn't done to the car. I told them I was very disappointed with the breakage of the car, only because I have put worse abuse to the other model(Rx7) and did not see parts breaking so early into the abuse. The Rx8 is to heavy and parts are to weak to withstand the shock loads of drag racing. I decided to relax for a while with my Rx8. I still love the car.
