so we asked our rep where the 2006 rx8's are, they were due in jaunuary, and its now mid march. he said that the plant fire last year has screwed up allocations of cars and there might not be a 2006 rx8, they might just be early 07's....

i guess the miatas been affected too, but not as badly

the fire is only part of the story, the second part and more important is they are putting 6 speed autos in the rx8s now and they are working out the bugs in the ecu for the omp. also i received the 06 rx8 pdi bulleton about us putting in the new spark plug at pdi time, so my guess is we should see the 06 rx8 very very soon in my lot.

well like we always say "i'll believe it when it gets here"

i dunno if you remember the bad old days when the car would just show up, no parts fische, no manuals, bulletins.

the worst were the recalls, they would send the customer letters, and then have no parts or anything

most of the problems now are ford. like the 05 tribute is missing a buch of sections in the parts fische, and then the parts fische is really for an 03 tribute anyways, so we have to match everything up.

Well, hurry up and test drive an auto. I heard the 6-speed auto is a double clutch similar to BMWs system.

my dad was telling me about some new feature in some german car, its some miracle triumph of german engineering. he was taken aback when i mentioned that the rx8 had had an electric power steering rack for like 3 years already, and that he'd already driven one
