Thumbs up

My fiancee came up w/ a great idea, today:

Why not see if I can trade my 2 2nd Gen 7s (A GXL and a GTU) for ONE 3rd Gen?

Here's the post about it:

Please let me know what the thoughts are.

Suggestions, or interest, please E.Mail me at Jrzyboi00@yahoo.com

Thanks, Guys!

you can't because 2nd gen non TIIs are worth a max of about 3-4k and no FD owner wants two non turbo 2nd gens that equate to a max total of about 8k for one fd that goes for around 12k in nice condition.

Just my opnion though, maybe someone wants two 2nd gens ? who knows

IME, people don't do trades like that because of the VALUE, they do it for their own reasons 2 for 1, project car(s), etc.

I've seen some REALLY funky deals go down, because of that.

You'd need to find the right person obviously, but you might be waiting awhile for that person to come along. I wouldn't totally rule it out though.

Thanks for the support, guys....

Damn! I KNEW there was a reason I kept my fiancee around!

Just now she says, "If nothing else, just to sweeten the deal, toss in a couple of your Turbos. You've got like FOUR layin' around."

Heheh... Notta bad Idea!

In addition to the two 2nd Gens, I'll also throw in a couple of T-25s. Since I work on all kinds of cars, I think these are from a Z32-TT 2x2. Dollars to doughnuts, they could stand to be rebuilt, and PROBABLY aren't big enough to support any worth-while numbers on a 7, but they could be used on somethin' else. OR used as a TT setup. (?)

How's that for trying to attract, ah.... flys?

well, the thing is...

you're trying to trade off 2 FC's for an FD.

i have an FC, and i love it to death. but i think if i had an FD, i still wouldn't trade it for 2 FC's, especially when neither of them are turbo.

You should probably reconsider your engagement! I'll trade you a Bravada for 2 FC's though.
