Hi,

I'm in the process of selling my current project car, and looking for an FD. I know this is similar to what many people are looking for, but I'm in search of an FD in great shape other than the motor either having high mileage or being blown.

I say this because I have about $7-8k to spend, and I doubt I'll find an FD in good shape for that money.

That said, I'm on the east coast, and I'm open to offers. I'd also be willing to trade my current project which is valued around $8k as well. It's a Civic hatchback with a GSR turbo motor, about 300hp. Traps around 116mph in the 1/4, probably higher with a better driver.

Feel free to email me at jamesmic@wpi.edu

Around your ball park figure, and it runs. Good luck.

I'm not a fan of the wing/sideskirts, or the auto tranny, but thanks for the heads up! I think my best option is a blown motor and a cheaper car, since I can afford the downtime, and would like to do the rebuild. I have to sell my car first also..so nothing is set in stone at this point.

Question for Mods: Is it ok if I link to the post on Honda-Tech.com where the car I'm looking to sell/trade is located?

Cool, just wanted to double check first on the link. I don't want to cause problems.

Ha, thanks. Don't have too much respect, I am certainly not a "Honda guy" which may be the only reason the car turned out reasonably. It does suprise the hell out of people, but in the end, it's still a Civic, and it's still FWD most importantly. I hope it sells, I'd love to get my hands on an FD. Two of my roommates are building a 4 rotor, and may need somewhere to put it I need to find some old fart who blew the motor and thinks its junk. Time to start scowering autotrader and ebay
