The car is in 9 out of 10 shape. Drives awesome, paint is in good shape, very few minor dings with some chips on the front end. The interior is also in good shape only few issues are the center bezel has some nicks and the factory tape and cd player finally gave up.

MODS / Maint:

Starting with the engine the weak stock plastic y-pipe was replaced with the updated infini y-pipe. The radiator was replaced with koyo aluminum radiator, one of the fans was also replaced at the same time, the air separation tank was eliminated, all rubber vacuum hose were replaced with silicone hose, (blue in color). I also installed Apex intake kit. I replaced all belts and radiator hoses, installed new temp sensor, oil pressure sensor and the lower intercooler pipe last year (5-6k ago). I also replaced the spark plugs and wires within the past 2,000 miles. Also installed is a Profec B boost controller. Another major add on is the PFS programmable piggyback fuel map controller. This was installed by a rotary tuning shop, (ASPEC Tuning) and they also set up the fuel map with a wideband o2 sensor for correct fuel ratio.

The transmission is also pretty new the previous owner had it replaced due to a slight grind into second. The clutch is an ACT street/strip with the ACT medium weight flywheel. This was done last year and they have around 5,000 miles on them. Suspension work consists of 5 point adjustable Tokico struts all new mounting hardware and H&R springs front and rear lower car aprx. 1". The car also has upgraded front and rear strut tower braces.

The exhaust is also completely done with a 3” stainless down pipe, 3” stainless Bonez high flow cat (the catalyst has been removed though) and a stainless Racing Beat dual tip catback. For emissions I have the stock main cat that bolts right in and passes with flying colors.

On the exterior the R1 front and rear spoilers were added. The factory wheels were also powder coated black. Inside the car a double a pillar gauge pod was installed with matching autometer boost and temperature gauges. I installed a B&M short throw shifter factory Mazda door entry/scuff plates (they say RX-7 on them I think you can see the in one of the pics) The windows are also tinted 20%

Brakes were also redone and all rubber hoses were replaced with stainless steel lines. I also installed brand new Yokohama AVS ES 100 tires stock size the have less than 1k on them.

I am asking 16,800 and am located near Portland, Oregon. Any questions please email me at k_m_abbott@hotmail.com or send a pm.

Well never figured this would have happened but while I was doing some spirited driving and after coming to a stop the car had a paint shaker idle . After checking compression confirmed a bad apex seal. I dont think it is too bad though beause it still ran fine and boosted normal. The compression is at 75 - 50 psi on front rotor but it was checked cold ( numbers could vary slightly)

Price is reduced to13,000 no low ballers. If no one is interested I will have pinnapple racing rebuild motor over winter and relist in spring.
