For sale: 1987 TII
#1
car has 142xxx miles
the good: contains 100% of the parts needed for a TII swap if it was to be used as a donor car.
Hood is perfect, so is its hoodscoop.
Car has factory manual steering rack and A/C, so you can keep the AC and not have the extra bracket from the PS like others who delete thier PS.
Has old school Fittapaldi rims, but needs tires. I dont believe the AC to be working at this time, but it is 100% there and was working before the car was stored.
the bad:
needs some bolt on body panels to be perfect.
car needs a new battery
Car has been sitting for a few years, it got started now and then.
Last time I worked on it I put a new master cylinder in it, but it has leaked all its
fluid. I would assume it needs a new brake line somewhere unless it all bled down?
Has a FCD and a older, rusty Racing Beat exaust with a Bonez high flow converter, I have a practically new no name aftermarket exaust all assembled ready to go on the car that is included. I would not put much stock in the converter, it probably needs to be replaced if you counted on running it.
Also needs bolt on panels to be perfect, such as one door that looks like someone tried to get in after locking themselves out, the fenders are not 100%, they have some light bangs in them. Passenger door has some old bodywork that was not done that great.
I have all the body parts needed to make the car perfect, my original plan was to paint the car and sell it for a profit, but it has been sitting 2 years now due to my business taking up all my time. I dont see myself getting the time to paint the car, so I am putting it up for sale.
Lets be realistic and not break my *****: this is a 1987 car, its not perfect, it could use a interior shampoo and other odds and ends, but otherwise it is a complete stock car, I would have killed to find a complete TII at this price to use as a donor car for my turbo vert.
You could just go through the mechanicals and drive the car if cosmetics dont bother you.
$1700 non negotiable with the replacement exaust. The car is worth its weight in swap parts alone, especially with the perfect hood.
You can deduct $100 if you dont want the exaust, thats what I paid for it.
$2000 with all the bolt on body panels.
I also have S5 lights I could throw in for $200.
Please dont waste our time if you are not serious about buying, car will only be shown between 8-5 Tuesday-Friday, and 8-3 Saturdays on Long Island in Lindenhurst, NY, 11757 unless you make arrangements with me with respect to our time.
