For Sale: 1987 Rx-7 Coupe (san Diego)

For sale is a manual speed 1987 Mazda RX-7 Coupe (non-turbo), gold with burgundy interior. 110,000 miles. Body is in good condition (no major dents or scratches). Hasn’t been smogged or registered since 2004. Clean title, located in San Diego, CA.
Asking $1,500 O.B.O.
The car was parked for a year, but we just bought a house and now have nowhere to store it. Need to sell!

We inserted a fresh battery and the car started right up on the first try!
The problem is it needs a new pilot (or throwout) bearing (makes noise when depressing clutch and changing gears), which is a cheap part – less than $10 (see link #1) – but the labor is expensive unless you do it yourself. So, this would be perfect for someone who has (or has access to) the tools necessary to do that. Additionally, I found that you can replace the whole clutch system, bearings and all, for under $200 while you’re at it (“RP Standard Clutch Kit” link #2).
It has a new wiper mechanical system, new tail lights, and new carpeting under seats. Has an aftermarket reflective strip along both sides (which I have never seen on another RX-7).
