I have an 87 t2 for sale
800 dollars AS IS
Dirty interior, lots of spare parts (random, nothing major), broken sunroof
Needs a battery.
Has a stuck injector, driving home may result in a fire, because its so bad, gas pours out of the waste gate.
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah
Shipping will run you about $800 dollars so $1600 for a T2 isn't bad.

Reason for selling: I don't have time for this project anymore, all its needs to be complete is a new wiring harness and new injectors, then its done, aside from some interior vent pieces missing and the now lately (the main reason I am through with it) the sunroof is stuck open.

It caught on fire once, at the shop, but it was only on the turbo and was quickly put out. I never had to catch on fire while driving it, probably cause the gas was actually being used and not just sitting in idle all day. It is an awesome car, not as clean as my 88 though. I had a buyer back out twice, then someone wanted to give me a 400 deposit, then come to find out they can only come up with 280. So when I decided I would just fix it all, the sunroof jammed and now I don't even want to touch it anymore.
If you don't have the cash, I'd trade for all the parts to do a 5-speed swap. (new clutch a must)

I was going to buy the car, and I still might, im a little unsure of how much TLC its going to need, but it looks to be in very good condition under the hood, deffinately needs a wiring harness, stand alone, whichever. A paint job, exhaust, and whatever misc work to get it running properly. It is deffinately a project car. Id love to be able to get ahold of it, but my parents arent too fond of the project cars ive had in the past.
It might be too much of a fixer upper for me, I could kick my own *** for letting my black beast get taken away by 1revvin7!!
