Time to move on to a different car for now. Have another 1st gen planned already though ... but this one has to go.





Vital stats:





'85 GSL-SE, white, burgundy leather interior

~194000 km on the body

~3000 km on a new rebuild (spent about $1500 in parts ... has all new hard seals, all new springs, replaced rotor housings (not new ones, but they looked like new))

new Manitoba safety inspection





Condition:

runs great, needless to say.

Interior is very good.

Body has a bit of rust - just small spots, but a fair few of them. Penetration limited to two tiny spots on the rear under the bumper, easily repairable. Also a little damage in the front; I've driven it this way the whole time I've had the car, but it would be nice to fix it. Would probably need new fenders to fix properly.

Rear wheel bearing still noisy but I'll probably get around to fixing it sometime soon.
